A pair of newlyweds were left flying high after Chris Evans gave them a lift to their wedding - in the real Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Steve Elliot had called into Evans' breakfast show on August 8 and excitedly told him about his upcoming nuptials when the DJ offered his services as a chauffeur.

And Evans stuck to his word, driving Steve and blushing bride Jackie to the Christopher Wren Hotel in Windsor, Berks, today (Tues).

Chris' wife Natasha Shishmanian and the couple's two sons also attended the Elliot's happy day.
