Steven Gerrard - England's Young World Cup Players Are 'Scary' - Frank Lampard, Daniel Sturridge

England captain Steven Gerrard has praised the young players in the England World Cup squad.

Speaking at the England Footballers Foundation gala dinner, the Liverpool midfielder refers to players like Ross Barkley, 20, Raheem Sterling, 19, and 18-year-old Luke Shaw as "scary" despite their limited caps and lack of international tournament experience.

England's first match in Group D is against Italy on 14 June in the city of Manaus. They also face Uruguay on 19 June and Costa Rica on 24 June.
