Doctor makes worlds smallest vacuum cleaner
  • 5 years ago
Brainy Toby Bateson, 38, built the tiny machine by hand at home using a bottle to store samples of blood from animals he bought from an online veterinary supplier. The dad from Truro, Cornwall, who started dabbling in engineering the tiny bagless cleaners as a child, is now set to have it registered with the Guinness World Records later this month. He put in a total of nine hours of work before he had the vacuum cleaner switched on and working - and although he accepts it may not be commercially viable it was a handy tool to suck up dust.
