The woman in her 20s, who does not wish to be named, was outside smoking a cigarette when the she was grabbed by two men and bundled inside. A third man then joined them and helped to steal a heavy safe which was loaded into the victim's car, a brown Honda 4x4 with the registration number plate 8PXB. The offenders - described as white - were wearing balaclavas and gloves and were armed with a hockey stick. Police are now appealing for information and witnesses in connection with the robbery in Harpenden, Herts., on May 14, and the incident will be featured on BBC1's Crimewatch Roadshow next week.
