The Mayor of London clumsily struggled to flip the pancake after taking part in a photo-opportunity on Shrove Tuesday. Boris, 50, sheepishly accepted a frying pan and admitted to reporters and Tory supporters: "I see, I’m going to be the tosser in this story." And he fulfilled his prediction when he failed to catch the pancake and it twice landed on the floor before finally catching it on the third attempt. Boris was at the Premier Suite conference venue in Cannock, Staffs., to back Conservative candidate Amanda Milling who is battling to retain her seat at the General Election.
