Shocking footage of a van and caravan crashing on the M1

Shocking footage released by The Highways Agency of a van and caravan crashing off the motorway which will hopefully serve as a warning to drivers this Easter. The footage, captured on the M1 between Leicester and Loughborough, shows a van towing a caravan that begins swerving around on the slow lane before the van veers right into the middle lane and then left into the ditch at the side of the road, rolling over. The Highways Agency said the crash had been caused by a combination of a cross wind and the vehicle travelling too fast on a downhill section of the motorway. No one was seriously injured in the crash.
