RAF veteran George Kerr's boyhood dream became a lifelong calling which has now seen him stride into the history books -- as the world's oldest marching piper. Great-great-grandfather George, 91, has travelled the world over the last six decades belting out tunes on his beloved 130-year-old pipes, which he bought for just £10. And the latest high point in his distinguished career came last month when he was given a special award and invited to play at Edinburgh Castle for the military tattoo. Gifted George, of Peterborough, Cambs., has played with his local pipe band for the last 60 years.
