Huge gas explosion destroys house in Cheltenham

Two people were miraculously pulled ALIVE from the rubble this huge gas explosion - which completely demolished their home. The devastating blast ripped through a terraced house on a street in Cheltenham, Glos., on Thursday night, reducing it to a smouldering pile of concrete. An elderly lady - named locally as Betty Hodgkiss - was buried under rubble and firefighters took nearly two hours to rescue her. 11 May 2012
