‘Chicago Fire’ Actress DuShon Monique Brown’s Cause of Death Released

“Chicago Fire” actress DuShon Monique Brown, who died in March at age 49, died of a blood infection, the Cook County, Illinois medical examiner’s office told TheWrap on Thursday. According to the medical examiner, Brown’s immediate cause of death was sepsis, though the origin of the blood infection is unknown. Hypertensive cardiovascular disease and obesity were also contributing factors in Brown’s death, the medical examiner’s office added.
