Not two minutes away from the Gasparillo Police Station, another citizen has met death at the hands of criminals. Water melon vendor Brandon Samaroo, 21, was shot dead at his stall near Norman Junction. Only the day before, criminals made an easy escape from the Gasparillo Mall with a bag of jewels after spending more than four minutes smashing the showcases.
