Former White House advisor to President Barack Obama Valerie Jarrett has responded to the racist message Roseanne Barr tweeted about her Tuesday morning. Jarrett had already been scheduled to appear on "MSNBC's Everyday Racism in America" town hall when news broke of Barr's tweet. Barr's sitcom "Roseanne" was quickly cancelled following the news. Jarrett said in a clip of the show, "I think we have to turn it into a teaching moment. I'm fine. I'm worried about all the people out there who don't have a circle of friends and followers who come right to their defense."
