The team from Lava News captured footage of lava from the Kilauea volcano advancing on a property in Pahoa, Hawaii, on May 28.The crew kept filming as the lava came within 20 feet of the workshop owned by Shane Turpin, who runs volcano tour agency Lava Ocean. Turpin was able to evacuate with most of the items in the workshop before the lava engulfed the property.At least 71 homes have been destroyed by lava flows that emerged from fissures in the Leilani Gardens and lower Puna area of the Big Island following the eruption of the Kilauea volcano on May 4.
