Play Anything! Jam Tracks - A Dorian

Here is a Jam-A-Long track for you-- this one is in A Dorian, one of the minor modes, but not THE minor scale. The cityscape at night pictures are a visual corollary to the way the mode makes me feel-- its jazzy and has a sort of city that never sleeps vibe. \r

The name Play Anything! embodies the spirit of my approach to teaching and playing: You CAN do it, you CAN learn and play anything you want, it IS possible-- strive for musical freedom, the freedom to express yourself in a limitless, joyful way.\r

Note-- you can also use the A minor pentatonic scale (A,C,D,E,G) and the blues scale, with A as the root: (A,C,D,Eb,E,G.)\r
