Learn how to make your own DIY Shopkins Cupcake Queen iPad Case with this how to video! In this video, I get out my acrylic paint and crafting skills to make a super cute special present for my granny! This is a kid friendly kids craft that you can do all by yourself with a small number of materials! Heres what youll need:\r
\r
If you want to make it super easy to paint your own DIY Shopkins iPad case, youll need to buy some transfer paper! Print off a picture of the Shopkin that youd like to paint because youre going to use this to trace the Shopkin before you paint. The Shopkin I chose was Cupcake Chic, but you could choose any common, rare, ultra rare or even special edition or limited edition Shopkin you like! Tape a piece of transfer paper to your iPad case and then tape your cute little Shopkin pattern on top of the transfer paper. Use a pen to trace around the outside of your Shopkin pattern - make sure to press hard so the design is imprinted on your iPad case! After your design is on your iPad, its time to start painting!! I used lots of different colors of acrylic paint to create my Cupcake Chic Shopkin design on my DIY iPad Case! The colors I used are blue, pink, gold, black and white. I used the white to mix different shades of my different colors! After I finished painting my Cupcake Chic on my iPad case, I used some more Shopkins to add more decoration! I chose some other cupcake Shopkins from my Shopkins collection, and cut them in half. Its a good idea to ask a parent to help you cut your Shopkins in half. Then I used a very strong glue to stick my Shopkins to my cupcake themed Shopkins DIY iPad case. Youll want to use a strong glue because then the Shopkins wont fall off. \r

This isnt the first craft like this Ive done! Ive made two other iPhone case craft videos before because making iPhone cases is a LOT of fun. The first iPhone case craft video I made was really simple - I used the same technique where I cut Shopkins in half and used a strong glue to bond them to my multi-colored iPhone case! I love this iPhone case so much and I use it every single day! This was the first iPhone case that I made, but it was also my favourite. \r
\r
The second iPhone case video I made was using a Gel-a-Peel kit. Gel-a-Peel is a really cool crafting kit where you can use a special kind of gel in a tube to create super cool and unique designs! I chose to make an iPhone case for an iPhone 5s because thats the kind of phone I have. The Gel-a-Peel kit also came with a pattern for an iPhone 6, so if you have an iPhone 6, you can also make a super cool phone case design for this style of phone. If you have a different kind of phone, Im sure you can also make a Gel-a-Peel iPhone case, but you might need to get creative and find a way to create your own template! \r
\r
Even though the Gel-a-Peel iPhone case was a lot of fun to make, it wasnt as good at protecting my phone as the Shopkins DIY iPhone case, so I use the Shopkins iPhone case on a daily basis. I really hope that my granny gets lots of use out of her Shopkins iPad case and that she loves using her iPad even more because of all the super cute cupcake Shopkins on the front of it! Nobody will mistake her iPad for their own because this Shopkins iPad case is totally unique, unless you make one at home and decide to use the same pattern!!\r
