Jailed British-Iranian Faces New Trial In Iran On Charges Of 'Spreading Propaganda'

According to Iranian media reports, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a British-Iranian woman imprisoned in Tehran, is expected to face trial for new "security related' charges. CNN reports that the 39 year-old was arrested in 2016 and is currently serving a 5 year sentence for allegedly spying on the Iranian regime. Her husband reportedly said that earlier this month, Zaghari-Ratcliffe appeared in court to face new charges of "spreading propaganda.
