The Lofthaven Tree House, designed by ArtisTree, is located at Cypress Valley just outside of Austin, Texas. This suspended yurt is the perfect romantic retreat, surround by lush landscape and access to a waterfall hot tub.\r

Will Bellharz, the designer and builder, constructed the Lofthaven by transporting materials to the tree using a zipline. The Lofthaven is completely suspended by the tree, with no supports touching the ground. \r

Will wanted to design the Lofthaven as a suspended yurt, because he grew up in yurt on the Cypress Valley property with his family. The design holds sentimental value to him. \r

On of the most incredible aspects of this tree house is that the tree is ually part of the INTERIOR design. The enormous (and gorgeous) bald cypress tree s as a centerpiece in the yurt.\r
