In this weeks tutorial, I will teach you how to make a simple dress cake start to finish! Starting off with my dress wonder mould cake pan, I will carve out a hole in the centre to insert my Barbie.\r
I added some extra fondant around her waist to help build it up a bit. I then made a fondant top for her using pink and fuchsia food colouring and a small rolling pin. I cut out a rectangle and placed that onto her body, gluing it down with some gel paste (pipping jelly). \r
Then using my American buttercream icing recipe, I crumb coated my entire cake. Once that was perfectly smooth, I got my tip number 104 ready! \r
Using a disposable piping bag, I ruffled my buttercream going back and forth around the entire cake. Making sure to lighted my icing after each pass creating a beautiful ombre (common in rosette cakes). Slice it up and enjoy!\r

Vanilla Cake Recipe:\r
box white cake mix\r
1cup all-purpose flour\r
1 cup granulated sugar\r
3/4 tsp salt\r
1 1/3 cup water\r
1/8 cup vegetable oil\r
2 tsp vanilla\r
1 cup sour cream\r
4 egg whites\r

Buttercream Icing Recipe:\r
1 cup butter (room temperature)\r
1 tbs vanilla\r
4 cups of icing sugar\r
1/4 cup water\r
