11-year-old Maeve was heartbroken when her beloved Great Dane Stanley passed away suddenly in February.
Maeve’s dad Andy decided to surprise his daughter after she told him she had a “hole in her heart that can only be filled by a Great Dane.”
In the clip, filmed on May 18 in Tiverton, Canada, we see Maeve walk into a room where an 8-week-old Great Dane puppy was waiting for her. After she screams, she tentatively walks up to the puppy and starts crying.
