This is the moment a local resident in Tampa, Florida, encounters a baby alligator trying to get into an apartment.
The footage shows the alligator roaming around the front door of a property.
A man then approaches the reptile in an attempt to frighten it.
The filmer writes: ''The alligators are a problem because they are constantly roaming the apartment community and it’s unsafe for kids and pets.
''The issue has been reported to the leasing office to no avail and residents just have to live with it.''
