A caring mother elephant helped her struggling baby out of a river in Kruger National Park in South Africa.
In the video, a baby elephant can be seen slipping in the mud as he tries to climb out of a river.
His mother comes up behind and nudges him with her trunk until he is safely on dry land.
“Elephants are extremely social and caring of one another, especially of their young,” the filmer said. “Seeing such incredible caring and kind behavior between mother and baby was a truly amazing and inspirational experience.”
