Milwaukee County Zoo welcomed a new giraffe calf to its herd on Tuesday, May 15.The female giraffe calf was born to mother Marlee, and dad, Bahatika. She’s the first giraffe calf born at the zoo since male calf Kazi was born in September 2017.Zoo officials say the calf weighed 174 pounds at birth and was six feet one inch during her first exam.Milwaukee County Zoo shared a clip fo the calf and Marlee bonding to Facebook on May 22.
