Trump to Meet South Korea's Moon With North Korea Summit Hanging in the Balance
  • 6 years ago

U.S President Donald Trump is set to meet South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Tuesday. The meeting comes amid concerns that Trump’s planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on denuclearization may fall apart. Moon’s visit was intended to be a fine tuning of the U.S and South Korea strategy for dealing with Kim. However, the White House was caught off-guard with North Korea’s dramatic change of tone. North Korea last week condemned the latest U.S-South Korean air combat thrills.
