This drive came in to HDD Recovery Services for data recovery this week. Our customer had sent it to another data recovery company before us; However, they could not recovery any data from it, so he sent it to us for second opinion. Previous lab claimed this drive as unrecoverable. In this part of the video, we perform visual evaluation of platters and heads in the hard drive. We noticed some imp wear on first head, but damage to the platters wasnt significant enough to stop us from performing full data recovery on WD Passport. If you had similar experience in the past, where your drive was claimed to be unrecoverable, please have a second opinion by a professional lab that ually has equipment and knowledge to perform such data recovery on WD Passport drive.\r
