These include using foam balls, mixing clear DIY slime with white DIY slime, pearly effects or adding polymer clay cane slices.\r

Of course you CAN substitute borax solution for the cont lens liquid. If you do that, you can skip the baking soda as well. (Baking soda is used to create alkaline pH conditions in the glue. This ivates the sodium borate inside eye drops or cont lens solution which causes the PVA to clump together, thus creating slime. So youve effectively made borax using baking soda and eye drops.which is why these two things need to be used together in DIY slime recipes)\r

The brands of clear glue that definitely work for DIY slime are Elmers Glue (USA), Povinal (Asia), Pelikan Pelifix (Germany, Austria), AMOS (Korea, USA) and Pritt Craft Glue (UK). These are just the countries I know of, so they may well be sold in other places too! Trying searching each brand online and youll be able to see if the deliver to you.
