Public oil companies have restored the process of increasing the prices of petrol and diesel on May 14 after a 19-day halt during the election process in Karnataka. Since then, the price has increased for the seventh consecutive day. On Sunday, the price of petrol was 33 paise and the price of diesel increased by 26 paise.

सार्वजनिक तेल कंपनियों ने कर्नाटक में चुनावी प्रक्रिया के दौरान 19 दिन की रोक के बाद 14 मई को पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में रोजाना वृद्धि की प्रक्रिया को बहाल किया है. इसके बाद से इनकी कीमत में लगातार सातवें दिन बढ़ोतरी हुई है । रविवार को पेट्रोल की कीमत में 33 पैसे और डीजल की कीमत में 26 पैसे की वृद्धि हुई.
