Cemented as a conspiracy favorite, the Apollo 11 Moon landing has raised many questions regarding its authenticity. Today on ApexTV, we look at the messiest point of Stanley Kubricks filmography.and that includes A Clockwork Orange. We take a look at the top 5 reasons the moon landings could be a hoax. Number five. Multiple Light Sources. When shadows fall in different directions, its logical to assume more than one light source has been used to illuminate a scene but on the Moon, there should only be one light source: The Sun. Videos and photographs clearly show that these shadows do not run parallel with each other. Many have spoken out to suggest this is undeniable proof that NASA faked the landing on a sound stage. Number four. The Van Allen Radiation Belt. When journeying to the Moon, a shuttle has to pass through (what is referred to as) the Van Allen radiation belt. Earth keeps this radiation belt steady with a magnetic field, eternally holding it in the same place. Before the Apollo mission, no human had ever attempted to travel through the belt and there are those among the conspiracy community who question whether or not the layers of aluminum supposedly protecting the astronauts could have prevented them from baking like a cake. NASA profess that due to the short amount of time spent within the belt, the astronauts were only exposed to a small dose of radiation. Number three. Lack of Stars. Considering there is an obvious lack of clouds on the Moon, one of the biggest mysteries surrounding the Apollo 11 landing is the lack of stars in the video and photographic evidence. NASA patched over this theory by stating the stars were washed out due to low quality photography. The for which continues to perplex conspirators across the globe is the stars appearing clearly in lower quality photographs of the sky taken from Earth. Number two. The “C” Rock. As you can clearly see, this Moon rock has the letter “C” engraved into it in a symmetrical fashion that suggests it was created by a human. Many regard this as a prop which was ill placed by a member of the art department working on the sound stage. The only cause NASA can offer up is that a stray hair got caught up in the development process of the photographs. Number one. Lack of Imp Craters. Many conspirators claim that if NASA had in f landed on the moon, there would be a crater beneath the lunar module to reflect the imp of landing. Yet, in most of the photographs, an imp crater is not evident and the ground beneath the module looks undisturbed. NASA have offered up reasons regarding the lack of an imp crater, explaining that there was no imp upon landing due to the low gravity of the Moon and for this reason, the lunar module did not create an imp crater.
