Victoria paramedics have graffitied their own ambulances to protest a court ruling that spared two women convicted for bashing a paramedic from a prison sentence.In April, 2016, the pair punched and kicked paramedic Paul Judd in Reservoir, a suburb of Melbourne, causing Judd “career-ending injuries”, the Herald Sun reported. They were sentenced to eight and four months in jail, respectively. However, the sentences was reduced to community service and time served.The state government has sought to tighten laws regarding the assault of emergency service workers in light of the ruling, ABC reported.
