Woman Finds Bear in Her Yard as She Films Connecticut Storm Damage

Rachel Posner of Plainville, Connecticut, went to film damage wrought on her backyard by a storm on May 15 but was surprised to find a bear wandering around.Posner told Storyful that her family is deaf and they were alerted to the bear by their usually timid dog, Faye. Posner said that if Faye had not barked excessively and drawn so much attention to the back door, they may have never seen the bear at all.
