Review: Nerf Hail-Fire N-Strike Elite, Can It Shoot 75 Feet? Hands-On Testing of Nerf Elite

Nerf N-Strike Elite Hail Fire Today we look at the Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Elite HailFire Blaster. This new Nerf gun has two big claims to fame, first it uses the new Nerf Elite bullets and promises 75 foot range. Second the Nerf Hail Fire claims the largest capacity of any Nerf Blaster - 144 bullets. We wanted to see if the Nerf Elite dart bullets could really fire 75 feet, so we setup a test for range and accuracy.\r

While the Hail Fire can hold up to 144 bullets, we were a little disappointed that the package only comes with 4 clips, each which holds 6 Elite bullets. So, you get only 24 bullets with the Hail Fire. If you really want to reach the maximum of 144 bullets, you not only need 120 more bullets, you also need to get 8 clips, that each hold 18 bullets. The good news is that any clips you have for the old N-Strike system (old nerf bullets) will work with the Hail Fire. So, the old N-Strike clips are compatible with the new Elite, but you will need the new Elite bullets.\r
