Join me in Spain for a test drive with the new Audi RS4 Avant! It's a car I've been looking forward to driving as a possible contender for my daily driver in Germany; powerful for fast Autobahn cruising, luxurious for comfort on long journeys and loaded with tech or entertainment and safety. After a snow-delayed flight from London, let's enjoy the sunset and beautiful roads to experience the car and take a look around it. What do you think, should this be my choice?

The 5th generation Audi RS Avant, and 4th gen RS4 Avant returns to a biturbo V6 TFSI engine with 450PS and 600Nm, which means 0-100km/h (62mph) in 4.1s and a top speed limited to 280km/h (174mph) with the optional increase package. With styling cues borrowed from the Audi RS5 Coupe, but actually sitting slightly wider at 30mm over the standard car, it looks dedicated for purpose while not immediately shouting 'look at me' - those that know an Audi RS4, instantly know what it is.

Starting with a walkaround of the new car, before jumping in for a drive through the different modes and then wrapping up with a better view of the interior, let's take a full look around the new super-estate and see what it's all about.
