After undergoing a detail at Topaz Detailing London, next up was the application of the Paint Protection Film. PPF has existed for a while but technologies for the film itself are developing very quickly. Almost being invisible on the surface and with self-healing properties it's an incredibly good way to keep a car's paint looking in perfect condition for long time periods.

Here you can see the process starting at Topaz as we demonstrate a little of what is being done and how it works, from the initial patterns, to application and final preparation. The benefits are then maintaining the quality of paint, protection from stone chips and avoiding swirl marks and other light scratches going forward.
