McLaren 650S Spider - Roof System and Tonneau Storage

Showing you the roof mechanism on the McLaren 650S Spider, a folding hard top over the carbon tub that only sacrifices less than 5% of the rigidity of the Coupe. Obviously one of the reasons for upgrade was to go open topped, and the 650S uses the same roof system as the 12C Spider that takes 17 seconds up or down while driving up to 30km/h or 19mph. Additionally you can use the storage area under the tonneau cover for 50 litres of extra storage and also the rear window can be lowered while the roof is still up for some extra sound!
