Pure McLaren is the track based driving programme from the Woking company, allowing drivers to explore their car's capabilities on exclusive days at some of the world's most renowned race tracks. Seen here is one such day held by McLaren Middle-East for customers of the Abu Dhabi and Dubai dealerships at Yas Marina circuit.

Taking to the track are numerous McLaren 12Cs, some of the demo cars and a number of customers in their own cars, but also including the astoundingly fast McLaren P1 taking 12C owners for hot laps around the course.

If you've seen my recent P1 videos you'll have seen quite how much blue flame they fire from the exhaust, but what's perhaps cool here is that the 12C does exactly the same! Most of the cars being driven hard were shooting exhaust flames, which you'll see more of in a future video.
