Last year a customer commissioned 5 McLaren MP4-12Cs through the McLaren Special Operations programme, named the HS or High Sport. At a cost of $570,000 each it's a significant hike on the basic car for all of the customisations however the owner keeps the different cars around the world with this orange one, car number 1, kept in St Tropez, 2 hours from Monaco.

More recently 4 further HS models have been built with the original owner taking a commission for the privilege.
