James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 Auction - £2.6 million

Shmee150 captures the moment James Bond's famous car sells for the small fee of £2.6 million GBP! It had been estimated at "£3.5m+" so some in the industry consider the sale a disaster.
As you can tell from this shortened video it did not go exactly to plan. The opening bid of £2.5m was almost certainly a joke by somebody who figured it would go on well beyond that, and you could tell the desperation from the auctioneer as he only got 1 increased bid in the 10 minutes he spent trying to sell it.
