This video is on how to make a remote control circuit out of a lego IR transmitter and IR receiver. Other methods of making remote control circuits can be very costly. Using Arduinos can be expensive, because two of them are needed. This method is taking apart a lego IR receiver, and isolating the DC in and out wires, it is then possible to power other things remotely. There are many possibilities that can be done with the circuit. One could potentially hook up a relay to the circuit and control anything they wanted remotely.
