Geneva 2018 Car Premieres - Mercedes-Benz Classe A

The all-new Mercedes A-class hatchback has been revealed and everything has changed; it has a new front design, a new interior and engines. Mercedes’ new entrylevel A-class hatchback is based on an updated MFA (modular front architecture) platform, get a hybrid option and come with autonomous technology. A-class comes with 3 new engines: 1.4-litre turbo petrol (161hp), a revised 1.5-litre diesel (114hp) and a 2.0-litre turbo petrol (221hp). The 7-speed dual-clutch or a 6-speed manual, which arrives later in the year, is capable of 8sec in 0-100km/h. It will be 10mm longer than its predecessor and adopt a new body structure, which significantly improves rigidity and driving experience. The infotainment screen is a user-friendly interface, swiping and scrolling are very easy. The instrument cluster will show Assistance, Journey or Navigation information. The new A-class is also feature a more intelligent voice control system.
