Pleated Neckline Tank Top in Satin with Lining : Cutting Sewing and making Balloon Top

Cutting a Pleated Kurti/Top is same as making a simple kurti top. Only the front part fabric is taken twice the width and one box pleat is stitched in the center and three knife pleats on the sides.\r

You can increase the length and its your kurti with leggings, jeggings, salwar or pants. \r
\r
You can make this kurti / top with your old sarees / dupatta. Flowing the fabric, better it is.\r
\r
A Pleated Top gives a nice layered look and once you know the easy way to make it, you can add it to your skirt, pair with your trousers or simply make a knee length dress with a belt to have that royal chic feel.\r
\r
-The best fabric for this kind of Top is Georgette, Chiffon, Silk, Satin, Crepe or any other flowing fabric. \r
-The lining would add grace, durability, finishing to the Top but if you wish to make it otherwise over an inner then try to overlock or zigzag the edges so threads dont fall around.\r
- Length you can increase or decrease.\r
-This Pleated Top is not body hugging if you want it so, then keep the measurements chest/4+1/2 & likewise for waist & hips.\r
