In the very early hours of Thursday, President Trump welcomed home Americans from North Korea and commented about the TV ratings.

In the very early hours of Thursday, President Trump welcomed home three Americans who had been held captive in North Korea.  Trump thanked reporters gathered at Joint Base Andrews and quipped, "I think you probably broke the all-time-in-history television rating for three o'clock in the morning."  The president's other comments largely focused on relations between the U.S. and North Korea and the upcoming meeting between him and Kim Jong-un. Trump expressed high hopes for what will be accomplished and said, "…we're starting off on a new footing."
"This is a wonderful thing that he released the folks early. That was a big thing...And I really think we have a very good chance of doing something very meaningful," Trump further noted. "My proudest achievement will be—this is a part of it — but will be when we denuclearize that entire [Korean] peninsula. This is what people have been waiting for…a long time. Nobody thought we could be on this track in terms of speed."  While specifics about the meeting have not been formally announced, reports indicate that it's likely to be held in Singapore in the coming weeks.
