Girl Jumps from Moving Car to Escape Hijacking in Illinois

An 11-year-old girl was able to escape a car when it was hijacked at a gas station in Aurora, Illinois, on May 4.Surveillance footage from the scene shows the girl tumble out of the car as it pulls away. Her father can be seen scrambling onto the hood of what police said was the accomplice’s vehicle in an attempt to stop the car.Neither the girl nor her father were hurt, police said.Tyrelle L. Pulley, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated vehicle hijacking, aggravated unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle and fleeing and eluding police.
