How to Do Genie Locs|Yarn Braids

Yarn braids or Genie Locs (whatever you prefer) is one of my favorite protective styles. A good alternative to dread Locs or sister locks, this style last for a really long time! I keep them in for at least two months!! I use simply soft vs. the red heart because its alot softer and its not jet black. The simply soft is an off set black which matches my hair color a lot better. \r

Make sure you have plenty of time to do this protective hair style. It took me every bit of 3 days. Even if I would have started early on the first day, it would have still taken at least 2 1/2 days.\r

Make sure you keep your braids/locs moisturized because they have a tendency to stay dry. I will have a tutorial of my daily moisturizing treatment posted soon.\r
