India has paid Senior Advocate, Harish Salve, ONE rupee to represent it in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case at the International Court of Justice, the ICJ, at The Hague. Pakistan, on the other hand, has already paid 11.5 crores rupees to its Counsel, Khawar Qureshi, to represent it in the case. We''ll talk about why Pakistan is SO desperate to hang Kubhushan Jadhav. This is a Sunday Guardian story. Remember, Kulbhushan Jadhav was sentenced to death by a Pakistan Military court in April last year. The Pakistanis accuse him of spying for India and carrying out terrorism in Pakistan. India says the trial against Jadhav was a complete farce. And it took Pakistan to the ICJ. The ICJ then stopped Pakistan from hanging Jadhav - till it has adjudicated on the case.
