Former President George H.W. Bush was admitted to the hospital in April But according to his spokesman the former president has finally been discharged. The spokesman said: "His doctors report he is doing well and is happy to return home.” Bush was sent to the hospital after contracting an infection that spread to his blood. According to CNN this was after his wife, Barbara Bush passed away.
