Boat on the Chicago River Catches Fire

A boat on the Chicago River caught fire on Saturday, May 5, burning as it floated down the river. A reporter on the scene said that the passengers, “including a fluffy dog,” made it safe to shore.The Chicago Tribune said four aboard the boat were already off when firefighters arrived and quickly put out what was an electrical fire.
