Last month, Sindri Thor Stefansson escaped from a minimum security prison in Iceland, where he was being held as the suspected mastermind behind the burglaries of around 600 expensive computers used for mining cryptocurrency.
He hopped on a flight to Sweden and was apprehended in Amsterdam after two people on the street recognized him and pointed him out to a cop.
Stefansson said he regrets his jailbreak.
