The centre was expected to provide a scheme for the implementation of the Supreme Court's February directive, asking the govt to ensure distribution of the disputed Cauvery waters. As the centre continues to delay action, Tamil Nadu farmers have now come out and expressed their anguish. The Tamil Nadu farmers association says that it has lost faith in both the judiciary and the government to bring them any justice in the long standing water dispute.
