The centre is going to pass an ordinance in Triple Talaq; the centre's decision is on hold over Triple Talaq for so long. Triple Talaq bill has been passed in Lok Sabha and yet to get consent in Rajya Sabha. An ordinance is yet to have same provisions as proposed by the centre earlier. It is to be a non-bailable offense and the guilty can be sentenced to imprisonment up to three years.
