With Gas Prices On The Rise, Here's How To Save At The Pump
  • 6 years ago

The cost of a fill-up keeps rising, putting a squeeze on some people's budgets. One way to reduce the pain at the pump is to shop around for the best price, something most motorists don’t do, according to a recent survey. According to a report from GasBuddy, drivers are prone to overpay by at least 20 cents per gallon “due to factors such as laziness and procrastination.” GasBuddy is a website and app that helps consumers find the best gas prices. By shopping around, consumers can save hundreds of dollars a year. Other ways to save money at the pump include gasoline credit cards and supermarket loyalty programs. Many gas stations also offer sizeable discounts if you pay in cash.
