Chip Gaines dismissed an online article that accused he and his wife Joanna of failing to put their family first. The article written by Daryl Austin wondered how the HGTV stars could “spend quality, one on one time with each child daily.” Gaines rejected the criticism saying it’s possible to have both “an amazing family and career you love.” Austin argued the Gaineses have too many business ventures and TV commitments to live up to their child-centric image. The couple recently wrapped up the final season of their hit show, “Fixer Upper” to focus on family. The couple recently announced that they are expecting a child.
