The McKoy Sisters - Never Let Go

Here are Noel McKoy's outrageously larger than life sisters, known as The McKoy Sisters. The girl group recreate the classic Eastbound Expressway track, "Never Let Go", a track that became a huge R&B smash for me in 1979 on AVI Records. Also a track which funk DJs have been requesting off me for years. I am so excited to have redone it. Annette, April, Tracey-Ann, and Jeanette got together to form a girl group that's full of fun. Annette's vocals are amazingly reminiscent of Gladys Horton, from legendary Motown girl group The Marvelettes. We tried to to reinvent a touch of The Weather Girls with them, and bring that fun element back to Disco. Of course, the comparison is unfair, as they're much more petite than the Weather Girls, but there is still an instant sense of fun in their whole appearance. Their first track "Love Payment Overdue", for "Disco 2008", is simply fun and camp! You can find the video for that song here on my YouTube channel. Enjoy!
